Home Videos is ambient bathed in warm hope, residing in that genre of vintage nature documentary soundtrack. Synth pads emerge and dissipate like the seasons, a pastoral choir of a breeze passing through wind pipes, over streams of tape hiss.
Simple melodies and subtle rhythm, too often overlooked in the humdrum of capitalist living. Pause for a moment, then grab a copy from Bridgetown Records.
I had the opportunity to see Ultra Dome live once at the famous Basement Gallery in Ewing. It was an experience I wish I could have repeated, and hope to in the future.
